Trigger Point Sarapin Injections
Trigger point injections are part of an innovative therapy designed to address the serious discomfort of the muscles. A trigger point is an area of the muscle that has developed a point of high pressure. The muscles are constructed of many bands of muscle fiber. When a certain section of the band’s experiences extra pressure it can cause pain and a tight feeling in this spot. This is most often referred to as a “knot” and
Knots in a muscle can cause numerous painful problems, including…
- reduced flexibility of the spine and neck
- restricted movements
- referred pain, that is pain experienced in other areas
- weakness in the muscles
- moderate to severe pain in the specific area
TRIGGER POINT INJECTION THERAPY WITH SARAPIN
Trigger point injection therapy is designed to address this painful condition and is offered at the Superior Healthcare facilities. This procedure must always be carried out by a trained physician, but the whole procedures only
Sarapin is the medication that will be applied to the sensitive regions. Sarapin is an anti-inflammatory derived from 100% natural compounds found in the Pitcher Plant. Because it is a naturally derived medicine,
Have you ever heard of Sarapin?
These two treatments have a few things in common. They are both used to address chronic pain and they both have anti-inflammatory agents as well. Both are recognized by the AMA (American Medical Association) and the US FDA (United States Food and Drug Association), and both require a prescription before they can be administered.
Furthermore, they both have applications and success in treating the following ailments:
- Intercostal Neuralgia
- Lumbar Neuralgia
- Alcoholic Neuritis
- Occipital Neuralgia
- Sciatic Pain
- Brachial Plexus
But the differences end there. Unlike cortisone, sarapin is a biological medicine that has been taken from compounds in a natural organism, the pitcher plant. It functions by inhibiting the pain signals from the nerves of the spine from exiting the spinal column. It has no other effects on any other nerve or motor functions of the body.
Cortisone, on the other hand, is a synthetically produced chemical.
But the most important difference is that sarapin has no side effects.
But cortisone does have negative side effects. Aside from thinning the blood and increasing blood pressure, cortisone has also been associated with cataract formation, puffiness of the face or thinning of the bones. Avascular necrosis causes serious damage to the joints and larger bones, this slightly more serious problem is also caused by cortisone.
Of course, these dangers are significantly reduced when cortisone treatment is administered by a trained professional. But many intelligent medical practitioners will only administer or prescribe cortisone after all other less-toxic medications have been tried and found ineffective.
So why haven’t you heard of Sarapin?
The primary reason that serapin lacks the availability and fame enjoyed by cortisone and other synthetic treatments is that it is a biological medicine that can’t be patented. As a result it can be made and sold on an open market without the regulation mark-up price offered by money-grubbing pharmaceutical companies.
Patent protection is the reason certain medications are so expensive while there “generic” equivalents can be purchased for much less.
For these reasons, many physicians in the medical community are unaware of sarapin and the benefits it can have. Nevertheless, at Superior Healthcare our talented team of medical professionals are fully aware of all aspects of sarapin and how it can be applied for best pain relief.
Our many patients who have received serapin treatment are very pleased with their results. If you or someone you care about is experiencing chronic pain caused by trigger points, feel obligated to get them help.
